At Lapsley Micro Garden, everything started with a simple love for gardening.

Hi, I’m Sam — and I’ve always found joy in growing things. What began in my own back garden soon grew (quite literally) into taking on an allotment. But with a larger plot came a slightly unexpected problem… there are only so many cucumbers one person — or even a whole family — can eat before things get out of hand!

That’s when I started to think bigger.

I began growing microgreens, supplying fresh, vibrant produce to local businesses and delivering them myself. It was incredibly rewarding, but it also sparked a new idea — why keep something so fulfilling limited to just my local area?

I realised I wanted to share my passion for nature more widely. Not everyone has a garden, an allotment, or even outdoor space — but everyone deserves a little bit of greenery in their life.

And that’s how my terrariums were born.

At Lapsley Micro Garden, my goal is simple: to bring a piece of nature into every home, no matter the space or location. Each creation is a small, living world — designed to be beautiful, low-maintenance, and a lasting reminder of how powerful a little bit of green can be.
